In the spring, the boy and I planted some veggies. We have thinned them and made snacks of them through out the late spring and early summer.
Finally one of the his "different colored carrots" appeared to be ready to be pulled. (They would be heirloom carrots to you and me.) So I pulled it. It didn't look like any carrot I have every seen. But then, I don't do anything the easy or normal way, so why start now.
Say hello to Carroty (Mr. B's name for it). I call it lunch!
Hello Lunch!

Why does it look like it's trying to run away??
That is just a creepy looking vegie. We've not had much luck with carrots....always look all knobby and deformed and are almost impossible to peel and make anything out of.
When you said "different coloured carrots" I thought you were going to say parsnips.
i agree with BF...it has legs.
