When we last met, I had just finished dinner and the Wife and I were heading back to the hotel.
As we rounded the stairs to our floor, we heard a yapping dog. I saw the dog earlier in the day (after returning from our impromptu shopping trip) in the valet line (we self park, it's closer and faster), but the hotel is huge the likelihood that the dog would be near us was minimal.
Perhaps I should have bought a lotto ticket.
So that overgrown rat was yapping when we got back. That was well after 9pm. A little after 11:30 I finally called the front desk. I wasn't sure what they could do, but it beat me getting my blood pressure even more elevated. Not sure what time later, but the yapping finally stopped. And, yes, the owner was all lovey dovey with the dog.
The next day we headed out to the beach for our walk. In our path was a man trying to lift up his wife. She wasn't doing much but groaning and flapping various bodily appendages. I asked if he needed some help. He said he did and I inquired as to how I could help. He said that she was in a bad way and needed a stretcher.
Off I go to fetch some help.
The I get to the pool bar and fill the manager in on the details as I understood them while the Wife took a waiter back to the scene of the accident. The manager calls an ambulance. I head back to wait with the Wife.
I find that they are leaving. The waiter and husband were supporting the wife back to her room. I ask what room they are heading too as I can hear the sirens approaching. Then I go back to the bar to let the manager know what happened and where to redirect the medics.
Twenty minutes later, the Wife and I get to start our walk. Wind was the same, so I had my Don King hair again.

Um, wth was wrong with the woman?? Was she old or drunk?
The dog barking would have made me lose my mind.
